I don’t know which shade it is
Has it ever been black or white
Or always remained a hint
That there is a grey tint.
Black is beauty and white is serene,
But grey is ugly.
It’s a true-lie with no gleam
A path stretching to infinity
What we think as white
Turns out not that bright
Bran comes with hay
Like reality with grey
It’s never black or white
Just grey shifting on its scale
And we judge according to the shade
Which is dark or sometimes pale.
