When the lips have performed their final touch,
When you said your final “No”,
When the eyes are their dryest and have lost the last drop,
When you said to leave and “Go”,
Have we already reached the end?

When the eyes have slept to never wake again,
When the hands have separated to never meet,
When you went offline for the final time,
When the filled the space of the last sheet,
Have we already reached the end?

When I’ve lost my way in my final days,
When you missed the last possible train,
When quietly you listen to never respond,
When all my texts are sent in vain,
Have we already reached the end?

When you say you don’t wanna see my face,
When the last song could be never made,
When the final inches of graphite are broken,
When my apologies you forbade,
Have we already reached the end?

When you’ve stepped the final stair and no floor comes next,
When you take in the smoke of your last cigarette ever,
When your life abandons the caretaker of your soul,
When you plunge down the ocean that ends never,
Have we already reached the end?

When the river has fallen dead into the arms of a sea,
When the last of your hopes have given up their hope,
When your legs made you meet a road’s dead end,
When you’ve tripped aimlessly over the hilly slope,
Have we already reached the end?

When that memory has poisoned the last of me,
When the leftover fraction of my spirit lies dead there,
When you’ve got to know that your death is near,
When finally you have stopped to care,
Have we already reached the end?

When you’ve inhaled the last of the oxygen left,
When you’ve turned deaf to your heart’s inner call,
When you’ve broken your beloved’s heart,
When you’ve bartered your pleasure for the mankind’s fall,
Have we already reached the end?

When your wings are broken and you are landing on death,
When your only blanket was burnt in the coldest of nights,
When performing your song and the last note goes wrong,
When blares in finality your conscience’s ultimate gong,
Have we already reached the end?

When you couldn’t rescue your memories from their death,
When you’ve lost the last person whom you knew,
When she cried her heart out in front of your abashed face,
When you failed your finals falling short of numerals few,
Have a already reached the end?

When your biggest plans have failed,
When your perfect plant develops a flawed seed,
When the final goodbye seems to take place,
When you thought but you can’t proceed,
Have we already reached the end?

And ends it all, with this final streak,
My seemingly never-ending poetry,
For it’s been too long, as Mom says,
I need to study now – coordinate geometry.
